August 06 The poolI was born to be rich. I could float in the pool all day long. Boring? Hell no. I have a floating chair....I look up and the hummingbirds go whizzing by. Butterflies flutter overhead. The gold finches flit by chirping and chattering. Like being at an airport....natures airport. Wasps dip down for a drink and some get caught in the current. Fearing being stung, I dip them out and let them fly free. I listen to the neighbor kids laughing and screaming in their pool, thanking God they're not in my peaceful pool. I need to get some tunes out here. Some party music....neighbors had on Steely Dan... now thats boring! Good but boring.
Sometimes my poodle Cookie (aka Chester) joins me on the float. She sits on my fat belly with her sun glasses on. She's the captain of the USS Whaler....she's captain Chesterpeake. She observes the world around us, stopping to lick the water occassionally.....can let her lick up too much or she'll become Miss Piss. Today I enjoyed a few Pina Coladas while at the pool. I called my friend Michelle to come over and join me on the other float the USS Bloat but that dumb ass had her phone off. Oh well her loss.
Needless to say I could spend everyday floating and watching the airport. But I have to WORRKKK!! WOOOOORRRKK <scream it like Sam Kennsion>  July 22 WorkI hate going to work. It's not the job, it's just having to get up and having to go 5 days a week. Dealing with moody and nasty people really gets me down. Then the people who call in for equipment status, most are nice but the nasty ones are real jerks. Like Tuesday, this dork calls in, raising hell that his equipment has been in our facility for 3 weeks and he needed it, that Davis always f*cks him around every year. Come to find out the dumbass had it for 2 days and didn't even know it! Well, he didn't know what to say...he stuttered like Porky Pig. I about fell out of my chair when he said he was sorry.
 Jackass.Anyway, I have better things to do here at home, like tend to my beloved orchids and dogs. Even the parrots could use some extra TLC. With the parrots the house is always dusty, so I need to dust and vacuum a lot, which I don't feel like doing after working all day. Other things need cleaned like walls and door scubbed because hubby throws the ball for the dog, it hits the wall and makes a mark. And the dog nose smears all over everything. Yes hubby helps, but he has things to fix, yard to mow, helping his mother. I could be home doing most of these things BUT I wouldn't get paid!! Cripes always a catch! I like to spend money. I caught the shopping bug only a few years ago. ...I think the ease of online shopping was the start of that.
But work makes me unhappy, thus I eat and now I am pretty porky. I quit smoking and that hasn't helped my weight problem.
We are awaiting a pool being installed...I am hoping it will pull me away from the computer and give me some more exercise. I would ride the exercise bike more but it's downstairs with that stinkin ass ferret and I just can't gut sucking in all that ferret stench while exercising.....I might as well smoke!
I don't play the lottery often but I am hoping those megamillions tickets will pay off and I can retire....before I die of workitis!
